The JOVS 6D Laser & EMS Mask is designed to address visible signs of skin aging, including deep wrinkles and sagging skin. With three treatment modes and seven EMS intensity levels, you can customize your treatment based on your skin's needs and tolerance.
What's the Difference Between M0, M1, and M2?
The JOVS 6D Laser & EMS Mask offers three professional treatment modes, each designed for a different skincare goal.
M0 — Pure Laser Light Mode
Laser only · 20 minutes per sessionM0 is the only mode that uses laser light therapy without EMS. It provides multi-wavelength coverage(510–1940 nm) for daily skin maintenance, helping improve the appearance of rough texture, dullness, and fine lines.
This mode is suitable for users who want a gentle, everyday anti-aging treatment without facial muscle stimulation.
M1 — Collagen Boost EMS Mode
Laser + low-intensity EMS · 10 minutes per sessionM1 combines laser light therapy with low-intensity EMS for a balanced anti-aging treatment. The gentle muscle stimulation is designed for regular use and is a good starting point for users who are new to EMS facial treatments.
M1 is suitable for daily skincare routines and users looking for a combination of skin rejuvenation and gentle facial muscle stimulation.
M2 — Deep Intensive Lifting EMS Mode
Laser + high-intensity EMS · 10 minutes per sessionM2 combines the same laser light therapy with stronger EMS stimulation for more intensive facial muscle activation. It is designed for users concerned with more noticeable facial sagging, less-defined contours, and deeper signs of aging.
If you are new to EMS, start with M1 and gradually build your tolerance before using M2. Once your skin and facial muscles are accustomed to EMS, M2 can be used 1–2 times per week for a more intensive treatment.
Is the Laser Intensity Different Between M0, M1, and M2?
The laser intensity does not change between M0, M1, and M2.
M0, M1, and M2 determine whether EMS is used and how strongly the EMS stimulates your facial muscles:
- M0: Laser only, without EMS
- M1: Laser + lower-intensity EMS
- M2: Laser + higher-intensity EMS
The laser output remains consistent across all three modes.
What Do L1–L7 Mean?
L1–L7 are the seven EMS intensity levels available in M1 and M2.
Since M0 does not use EMS, L1–L7 are not applicable in M0.
When using M1 or M2, you can adjust the EMS intensity from L1 to L7 according to your comfort level and tolerance.
- L1: Lowest EMS intensity
- L7: Highest EMS intensity
Start at a comfortable lower level and gradually increase the intensity as you become accustomed to the sensation. You do not need to use a higher level to achieve better results.
Quick Comparison
| Mode | Laser | EMS | Treatment Time | Recommended Use |
| M0 | Pure Laser | No EMS | 20 min | Daily laser-based skin maintenance |
| M1 | Laser + EMS | Lower intensity | 10 min | Regular EMS + laser treatment |
| M2 | Laser + EMS | Higher intensity | 10 min | Intensive lifting and muscle stimulation |
Important: There is no separate EMS-only mode. M1 and M2 both combine laser + EMS; the main difference is the EMS stimulation intensity. After each treatment, moisturize your skin thoroughly. Apply sunscreen before going outdoors during the day.
